Crush Life For A Cause

Surfing and snowboarding on the same day. It’s the holy grail of thrill-seekers around the world. SoCal is one of the few places on earth you can pull it off fairly easily. Especially when the mountains near LA get fresh powder like we are getting this year.

Now picture doing it to support an amazing cause, with other cool people and throw in skateboarding at the famous Venice skatepark and a VIP after party at Toms Flagship Store on Abbot Kinney.

This is what’s going down for Stoked Mentoring’s 2017 TriShredAThon (#TriShred17) in Los Angeles this Saturday.

50 people have signed up and committed to raising $500 each to support the at-risk youth mentorship work of Stoked in LA. Their mission is to inspire teens who are the most vulnerable, to believe in themselves through action sports.

The model of connecting adults who love action sports with kids that need guidance is what makes StokeShare so proud to be involved. We’ve provided used surfboards, wetsuits and extra volunteers for 4 surf outings with Stoked over the past two years. I recently volunteered for a snowboard trip and helped a few kids learn to ride. These are great kids who get to experience the ocean or the mountains for the first time because of Stoked.
